Hey stranger my name is Dakota and I’m currently being held hostage by the MDOC…HELP lol. I’d like to say that I have a good sense of humor, although the system doesn’t seem to agree with me. I’ve been through alot in my life and resented the world in my past but I’ve learned to grow from my experiences and have adapted humor to cope as opposed to being miserable. These days I enjoy putting smiles on the faces of those around me being that anything else would be uncivilized if you ask me.
I exercise daily to maintain a strong body and enjoy reading anything that will teach me something to maintain a strong mind. I’m currently working on building bonds with people outside of these fences. Despite the funny stuff I do take my circumstances serious. I bond with people who are truly trying to change themselves for the better. I’m the co-founder of a blogsite, prisonconnection.substack.com. the site is something bigger than myself and a way for me to do something meaningful with my time. it’s up and running but still being developed.
I’m trying to find people that I can get to know in order to help bring a sense of normalcy outside of the prison mentality that I’m surrounded by.
