Middle aged cliché currently fighting a federal charge and being held in pretrial detention.    Former paratrooper (combat veteran) turned honeybee keeper and (before being rudely interrupted) is a third year engineering student.

I live and go to school in northern California but have business interests in and frequently visit western North Carolina.  I have been to every state except Hawaii (it's in the future) and a number of countries.  Well-read and enjoy the classics, historical fiction, biographies, fantasies and crime suspense.  Top five favorite movies are 300, The Sandlot, The Princess Bride, Gladiator and Braveheart.  I first read the Lord of the Rings over Thanksgiving weekend when I was 11 and have read it dozens of times since.  I enjoy the mystical and esoteric.    Intense curiosity and I want to always know how things work and how to build them.  While I don't shy away from some video games, I would usually rather go to the movies, or out to the beach or mountains.

My family still owns a forest in NorCal that my great great grandfather bought in 1890s.  A Great Horned Owl lives there which I have filmed (and is on my IG) that I particularly enjoy while there.  I am fascinated by owls and corvids.   I have a giant pet rabbit who I found outside (or rather she found me).  She answers to her name and we have an unusually close relationship (familiar).  I also have owned other birds, dogs, cats and am open to many kinds of pets.  Horses are a goal.

Despite my All-American appearance, I practice lifestyle BDSM and I follow the Old Religion, worship the mother Goddess and have the Morrigan, among others including warrior gods/goddesses, in my personal pantheon.  I study the esoteric and am a student of mysticism.  I claim no supernatural powers, beyond my unusual control over one particular giant rabbit, but I most certainly am exploring the edges of the universe.   I have a degree in Mathematics and Robotics and love science.  I consider that many mysteries of the multiverse have scientific explanations that we simply do not understand, which is how I easily fit mysticism and science together.    I was raised a Mormon, and while I respect many of their beliefs still, I felt the call to greater mysteries to appeal both to my intellect and my sense of wonder.  I reject a patriarchal only Godhead.  I remain a truth seeker.  I do not care what religion a woman I date may have, so long as she has an open mind and does not cling to dogmatic rigidity.

I like women who can wax eloquently on the philosophical and can match my intellectual curiosity, but I also enjoy when a woman can still be submissive and follow my lead.  I equally can appreciate the joys of a bubblehead who is sweet and devoted, even if not overly clever in her own right.  More than any other quality, loyalty/devotion to me is that which I hold in the highest esteem.   I would never abandon a woman (or a friend for that matter) that has that quality.
